Specification for Hydraulically Bound Mixtures for use in construction projects

What follows describes the framework for a specification that has been developed for the production, construction and testing of HBM. The full specification is similar to the 800 series of the Specification for Highway Works (SHW). Unlike the SHW however, it is applicable to the use of HBM for trench reinstatements and non-road applications such as coastal protection as well as for pavements. XX0 General Requirements

Hydraulically bound mixtures shall be produced, constructed and tested in accordance with the following Clauses. The permitted HBM for the Works shall be shall be selected from BSEN 14227-1, -2, -3, -5, -10, -11, -12, -13 & -14.
