Hydraulically Bound Mixtures is designed as an information portal to promote the use of Hydraulically Bound Mixtures in road building, civil engineering and environmental applications.

Hydraulically Bound Mixtures are used worldwide in civil engineering. Originally developed for pavements, uses have spread to encompass marine and water-related applications such as dams, sea defences and erosion control, heavy foundations, remediation, strengthened fill and trench reinstatement.

This site, inaugurated summer 2008, has been developed, and is maintained and updated by John Kennedy, a consulting chartered Civil Engineer with 30 years experience with Hydraulically Bound Mixtures and stabilisation including the development of European Standards.
