Fly ash bound mixtures describe a sub-group of Hydraulically Bound Mixtures that rely on the pozzolanic properties of coal fly ash or pulverized fuel ash (pfa) as it is sometimes referred to in the UK. More information on FABM can be found on the UKQAA website (see LINKS).
